The problems discussed in the paper are the following: expediency and possibilities of studying the status of the small intestine (SI) in persons with arterial hypertension (AH); whether the small intestine can be considered as a target organ in AH; what are the peculiarities of SI and AH pathology comorbidity. For this purpose, analysis of native and foreign studies devoted to the assessment of small intestinal mucosa in patients with digestive system pathology was used to hypothesize application of capsule endoscopy among subjects with AH and gastrointestinal dyspepsia symptoms.

В статье обсуждаются вопросы: целесообразность и возможность изучения состояния тонкой кишки у лиц с артериальной гипертензией (АГ); может ли тонкая кишка быть признана органом-мишенью при АГ, в чем особенности коморбидности патологии тонкой кишки и АГ. Для этого с помощью анализа отечественных и зарубежных исследований, посвященных оценке слизистой тонкой кишки у пациентов с патологией системы пищеварения, строятся гипотезы об использовании капсульной эндоскопии у лиц с АГ и симптомами желудочной и кишечной диспепсии.
