Inflammatory changes were more often observed in the urban population than among women living in the village. As age increased, the number of neoplastic changes in the cervix increased with a peak incidence at the age of 50. Detection of cervical cancer in the Perm Territory was 0.03 % that corresponds to the average statistical indicators in Russia, although this apparently reflects the problems of hypodiagnosis in cytological screening, since in the country in recent years the incidence of cervical cancer and mortality from it has been increasing.</p> <p><bold>Conclusions.</bold> The cytological method is a key step in cervical cancer screening, since it allows you to identify early pathological changes in case of adequate collection of material, correct staining of preparations, and a highly qualified cytologist.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Цель. </bold>Анализ результатов цитологического скрининга рака шейки матки у женщин, проживающих в Пермском крае.</p> <p><bold>Материалы и методы. </bold>Работа основана на результатах цитологического исследования 4670 женщин в возрасте от 29 до 70 лет, проходивших дополнительную диспансеризацию в лечебно-профилактических учреждениях г. Перми и Пермского края за период с 2017 по 2019 г.</p> <p><bold>Результаты. </bold>Установлено, что независимо от места проживания преобладают нормальные цитограммы. Воспалительные изменения несколько чаще отмечались в группе городского населения, чем среди женщин, проживающих в селе. По мере увеличения возраста количество неопластических изменений шейки матки увеличивались с пиком заболеваемости в 50 лет. Выявляемость рака шейки матки по Пермскому краю составила 0,03 %, что соответствует среднестатистическим показателям по России, хотя это, видимо, отражает проблемы гиподиагностики при цитологическом скрининге, так как в стране в последние годы заболеваемость раком шейки матки и смертность от него растет.</p> <p><bold>Выводы. </bold>Цитологический метод является ключевым этапом скрининга рака шейки матки, поскольку позволяет выявить ранние патологические изменения в случае адекватного взятия материала, правильной окраски препаратов, высокой квалификации цитолога.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cytological screening</kwd><kwd>cervical cancer</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>цитологический скрининг</kwd><kwd>рак шейки матки</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Glukhova Yu.K., Volchenko N.N.
