Германский вопрос в диссертационных исследованиях Великобритании и США второй половины XX века

Аннотация

После окончания Второй мировой войны германский вопрос занимал ключевое место во внешнеполитическом планировании Великобритании и США. Сложившаяся во второй половине XX в. англосаксонская историография данной научной проблемы была тесно связана с актуальными политическими задачами Лондона и Вашингтона. Вследствие этого анализ диссертационных исследований, прошедших защиту в вузах Великобритании и США в этот период, позволяет проследить эволюцию методологии зарубежных авторов и в то же время раскрывает приоритеты британской и американской политики в Германии. Изложенные в данных работах оценки состояния и перспектив германского вопроса в послевоенный период важны для понимания стратегических целей этих двух государств в Европе и современных международных процессов. Заявленная тема не являлась предметом специального исследования российских авторов, что определяет актуальность и новизну настоящей статьи. Источниковую основу работы составили диссертации на соискание ученых степеней магистра (Master) и кандидата/доктора (PhD) наук, прошедшие защиту в британских и американских вузах в послевоенный период. Автором определены основные особенности методологии исследования; выявлена степень влияния исторических событий и процессов на выбор тематического поля диссертаций; определены характерные особенности работ начинающих специалистов по сравнению с публикациями зрелых ученых, формировавших ядро англо-американской историографии.
