It was doubtful, Tim Cook has been CEO of Apple for 10 years

On August 24, 2011, Apple had a new CEO to replace Steve Jobs, who resigned from his post due to a serious illness.

Tim Cook was directly selected by Steve Jobs and has served as CEO of Apple from August 24 until now. This week Tim Cook officially served as CEO at Apple for 10 years and is still running.

Before becoming CEO of Apple, Tim Cook had worked for the company for a dozen years.

His previous position was Chief Operating Officer in charge of sales and operations, including with the supply chain.

Unfortunately Steve Jobs did not have long to see the performance of his successor. The Apple founder died 2 months after leaving his position as CEO, on October 5, 2011.

In the early days of Tim Cook's leadership, many Apple Fanboys felt that Apple would fail because it was abandoned by Steve Jobs.

Given that Tim Cook had never appeared or received an interview in any media before becoming CEO, his work ability was underestimated by some observers.

But apparently for 10 years running, Apple is still growing rapidly.

New products and services from Apple have been released since being led by Tim Cook.

Some of them are Apple Watch, iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, AirPods, Apple Music service, to Apple Silicon, which is a CPU made by Apple for Mac computers.

Led by Tim Cook, Apple managed to continue to increase profits.

Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, makes his first appearance in court - In August 2020, Apple managed to reach a market cap of $2 trillion and became the first company from the United States to reach that value.

This record can even be achieved in just 2 years from the previous record, a market cap of $ 1 trillion.
