POSSIBILITY OF ENTERAL TUBE FEEDING IN SEVERE SURGICAL PATHOLOGY

Abstract

Objective. Study of the possibility of using new GASTROAXILIUM mixtures in complex therapy of severe surgical patients with abdominal pathology.

Materials and methods. The study of the characteristics of the developed mixtures was carried out by standard and non-standard methods in an accredited laboratory, clinical studies - in accordance with the Procedure for conducting studies of the effectiveness of specialized dietary therapeutic and dietary preventive food products. Statistical processing was carried out using analysis of variance.

Results. The specialized food product for probe feeding GASTROAXILIUM developed by the specialists of the Research and Production Center for Healthy Nutrition Technologies of the V.I. Razumovsky State Medical University of Saratov has different technological solutions from foreign ones. In the main group in contrast to the comparison group there was a statistically significant reduction in the duration of postoperative intestinal paresis, both in planned and emergency surgeries.

Conclusions. We believe that the results of the study of daily nutritional complex of oligomeric dry mixtures of enteral nutrition GASTROAXILIUM are in agreement with the literature data, will successfully complement the scientific data on the need for nutritional support and will play an important role in improving the quality of treatment of severe postoperative patients with abdominal pathologies.
